Man vs. Booze
Move out of the way Adam Richman because The Lifer has taken your food challenges to a new level. Last year, to celebrate 11/11/11, The Lifer decided to take 11 shots of Rumplemintz at 11 p.m. Yes, that's right, 11 shots of Rumple all within the time span of about two minutes. And get this, afterwards, he still had to bartend for over 3 hours.
Well, today is 12/12/12 and in attempt to entice The Lifer to down 12 shots of Rumple at midnight, The Warden went deep into the LBB vault to find the incredible video footage from last year. If you haven't seen this yet, you won't believe your eyes. And if you've seen it before, you'll be just as impressed as you were the first time. Have a look...

Unfortunately, The Lifer has proclaimed that he will not succumb to the pressure of taking 12 shots tonight. Apparently, his liver retired shortly after the video was made and The Lifer is now a Type 2 Diabetic. Call us selfish, but The Warden and I till think he should top last year's feat. Perhaps with enough comments to the video on our YouTube channel, Life Behind Bars News, he will accept the challenge.

INMATE Expansion
I was looking at the analytics for the LBB blog and found it interesting that in the past week, we have had pageviews from Canada, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Germany, the UK and Mexico. Pretty cool. If this was the board game Risk, Life Behind Bars would be well on its way to global dominance.
If you happen to be in a country outside of the United States and you are viewing this blog, please let us know about it by emailing us at info@lbbinmate.com. Also, if you want more information about Life Behind Bars, check out our website here http://www.lifebehindbarsisthebomb.com. Toast.
Save the Internet!
INMATES, it's time to make your voice heard. Once again, your freedom of speech on the internet is at risk of being severely restricted. If you recall, several months ago I wrote an article about this issue and asked you to take action - and many of you answered the call. Well, it's that time again.
This month, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is holding meetings with representatives from countries across the globe to re-negotiate how we communicate on the internet. Attendees of the meetings will be select government officials from several countries. The issue here is that many of the representatives at the ITU conference reside in countries that are against the internet and especially sharing your thoughts openly.
Some of the proposals before the ITU could impede our your ability to speak your mind. Additionally, services like YouTube and FaceBook would have to pay fees in order to operate in certain places. What does this mean? It means that our society will not be able to enjoy the infinite sharing of information that we are so accustomed to. Also, it means that FaceBook, YouTube and other social media sites might start charging users to help mitigate these new operational fees. Needless to say, this is not good.
Please take action and make your voice heard. Let's keep the internet functioning as the ultimate mechanism that facilitates free speech for everyone. Click the link below to learn more and to be a part of the solution. Toast!

Just in time for the holidays, The Parole Board has a special gift for every INMATE. Think of it as a little token of our appreciation. We tried to find a gift you would all enjoy. More on this soon, just wanted to give you something to look forward to. Until next time.
